TunnelPad

Custom domains

On Pro and Team you can share a tunnel at your own domain, such as share.acme.com, with an automatic HTTPS certificate.

Set it up

  1. Add the domain on the Custom domains page.
  2. At your DNS provider, point it at TunnelPad with a CNAME record to relay-lon-1.tunnelpad.dev. (For a domain that can't have a CNAME, such as acme.com itself, use an A record to the same address relay-lon-1.tunnelpad.dev has.)
  3. Click Check next to the domain. Once its DNS points at TunnelPad, it's marked as verified.

Share with it

tunnelpad share 8000 --domain=share.acme.com

The first request gets a certificate from Let's Encrypt, which takes a few seconds; after that it's instant. Certificates are only issued while a tunnel for the domain is open.
