Terms of service

Last updated 6 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Bowyer Digital ("we", "us"), a business based in England, about your use of TunnelPad: the website at tunnelpad.com, the tunnelpad command and our tunnel servers (together, "the service").

1. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Keep your password and tokens secret: you're responsible for what happens with your account and its tokens. You must be at least 16 years old. If you create an account for an organisation, you confirm that you can agree to these terms on its behalf.

2. Using the service

TunnelPad forwards internet traffic to a computer you control. You're responsible for what you share through it, for having the right to share it, and for keeping it secure. You must follow our Acceptable use policy. We may show visitors a notice before free tunnels and apply the fair use limits described in the documentation.

3. Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change; we'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects you. Team plans are billed to the team's owner per member, with changes prorated.

You can cancel at any time in the billing portal; your plan continues until the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't refund partial periods except where the law requires it. If a payment fails, we may move your account to the Free plan.

If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of buying a plan. By starting to use a paid plan straight away, you agree that we may charge for the service provided before you cancel.

4. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, suspend or stop parts of the service; if we stop a paid feature, we'll give you notice and a pro-rata refund of any period you've paid for and can't use.

5. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts, close tunnels or reclaim names and domains that break these terms or the Acceptable use policy, that put the service or others at risk, or when the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why. You can close your account at any time from your settings.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or business, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £50 if that's more).

If you use the service as a consumer, you also have rights under consumer law that these terms don't affect.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the service before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you can also bring proceedings where you live.
